How to fix windows update error??


Here in this blog i describe about windows update failure problem. So, firstly you need to go to command prompt and for this you need to type cmd in the search option of your computer from start menu.

Now in the command prompt window ipconfig and press enter. After that in command prompt window you see a list of IP addresses and from here you need to copy the default gateway address. After that you need to paste it in the url bar of your internet browser.

After that you need to click on security tab and then uncheck the box just before Filter ActiveX.
Now you need to go to the bottom of the page and here you have to click on apply settings button.
now just close your internet browser and try windows update again now your problem is solved.

How to Reformat Hard Drive in Mac OS?


Whenever your computer system is corrupted hard disk of your system is also corrupted. So, to maintain the performance of your computer hard drive recovery is necessary doesn't matter which operating system you installed in your computer. Hey friends in my previous post I describe the reformatting of hard drive in windows operating system and now I am going to describe about reformatting procedure of hard drive in mac OS.





To format a volume of a hard drive in mac you have to open the disk utility program. Now a list will be displayed in front of you  with all hard drive partition. Now you have to select the partition volume which you would like to format and choose the erase tab. After that select the  type of file system and press the erase button to get the formatted volume. Now your hard disk is reformatted or hard disk recovery is done successfully after following the above procedure.

Now your computer setup start working fine and performance is also increases.

When your computer is attacked by viruses then hard drive of your computer is corrupted completely. So, to clean your hard drive you need to reformat the hard drive or hard drive recovery. Here below a small description about reformatting of a hard drive is given.

Reformatting of hard drive for Windows Operating System:

For reformatting the hard drive of your computer system you need a recovery disk or installation disk of any of windows OS like Windows 7 or Windows Vista or Windows XP. Before starting the whole process you need to copy and transfer all your data to any external storage device. Now your computer will boot with the help of installation DVD, after inserting it in optical drive.

Select the option install operating system now and then select drive volume in which you like to install the operating system. After that a list will be displayed in front of you with information of free and used space of the hard dive volume nad here you find the option of formatting a hard disk drive. now select the volume you want to erase and it will formatted.

To reformat you have to click on "My computer" option then you see list of hard drive volume, make a right click on the volume you like to formatted. Now choose the file system that is NTFS and execute the command "format". Aftre that all the data is cleaned and you got a new fresh volume with free space.

How to Check History of Your Computer??.....


Various type of browser is available to get the internet access. Checking the history depends on what type of internet browser you are using on your computer. The different types of browsers used in browsing internet are internet explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google chrome and so on.  The steps to check the history for Windows 7  are as follows.

For internet explorer:

· Click on the tool tab in internet explorer 7.
· You will come across explorer bar tab in the drop down box; move your mouse cursor over the tab.
· Click on the history tab there.
· A history side bar will appear containing all the browsing history according to the date.
· Click on the particular date, you will see list of all the websites visited on that date.
· Scroll down to see the URL or the name of every website that was visited.

For Mozilla Firefox:

Method 1:
· Launch the browser by double click on Mozilla Firefox.
· Click on 'History' tab on the text menu bar at the top of the browser.
· Scroll down to see the list of websites visited in the library box.
Method 2:
· Click on View tab. You will see the 'Sidebar' tab.
· Click on the side bar tab, you will see the option for history.
· Click on history, you can also make use of the shortcut 'Ctrl + H' to view the History sidebar.
· In the History sidebar, you can check the browsing history by date.

For Google chrome:

Method 1:
· Open Google Chrome new tab or window.
· Click "Show full history" link in the bottom of the Google Chrome web browser window.
Method 2:
· Click "Customize and Control Google Chrome" menu.
· Click "History" button.
These are the ways by which you can check the history of your browser. If you want to delete them, you can also do so. The steps to delete internet browsing history are as follows,

For Google chrome to delete history:

· Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
· Select Tools.
· Select Clear browsing data.
· Select the "Clear browsing history" checkbox in the dialogue box that appears.
· Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data you want to delete. Select beginning of time to clear your entire browsing history.
· Click Clear browsing data.
So by following the above steps you can check the history of your computer and you can safe your computer from unauthorized websites by deleting the history.

Code 3 errors that Device Manager generates on Windows-based computers:-


Yes, I have a latest new brand computer, and I am from the technical background too, but that doesn't means I am the jacks of all. As becoming a doctor doesn't means that I have specialization in all the fields of medical science, I may have the knowledge of every terms related with it but I will be master of my particular field only. So, friends having the knowledge of computer or from the technical background doesn't mean that you will be the master of every term related with the computer.

The Device Manager is a Control Panel application in Microsoft Windows operating systems. It mainly manages, view and control the device hardware attached to the computer system, and when the device hardware doesn't work properly it generates an error code. This article is regarding the code 3 error that device manager generates on windows based computers. Device Manager error codes are numerical codes, accompanied by an error message, that help users determine what kind of issue Windows is having with a piece of hardware. The device manager generates the code 3 error when the driver for the particular device may be corrupted or your computer system may be running low on memory.

Steps to resolve this problem are as follows:-
1.By uninstalling and re installing the driver, this is just to fix the corrupt driver to do so steps are as follows:-

  • Click the Driver tab on the device properties dialogue box.
  • Click the Uninstall button and follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Click Scan for hardware changes to launch Add Hardware wizard and follow the on-screen instructions to re-install the driver.


2. If your system is going on low on memory you can upgrade the RAM, here you have to add an additional RAM to your computer system.
For the temporary base you can also resolve it by restoring the computer to an earlier period of time when your computer was running properly. You can do so by proceeding through following procedural steps which are as follows:-
  • Click the Start button then click on All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and then click on System Restore.
  • Select “Restore my PC to an earlier period” and then click on Next.
  • Find the latest system restore point from the “select a restore date” list, and then click on Next.
  • Click next in the confirmation screen.
  • Restart the machine when the rescue is done.
